Tom joined the firm in 2013 with a focus on Probate Law.  His primary duty is to assist Elizabeth W. McElroy, Esq., Jefferson County Administrator, with Probate matters, which includes duties such as serving as a liaison for Probate heirs, clients and attorneys, drafting of pleadings, assisting with property management, securing assets of the Estates as well as the accounting of funds collected, sales of real property, sales of personal property, managing court dates and deadlines, research, and the opening and closing of the Estates.  Although Probate is his primary focus, he assists where he is needed for the other partners.  Tom is a graduate of UAB, and earned his post baccalaureate at Samford University’s ABA-Approved Paralegal Certificate Program.
