Landis Munkus serves as our legal assistant for the firm.  She assists the attorneys in all aspects of their practice, including managing all administrative tasks, composing and revising legal documents and correspondence, answering calls and acting as liaison between clients and attorneys; scheduling and maintaining attorney calendars, assisting with firm billing, filing pleadings in probate, state and federal courts, assisting with document production, as well as many other clerical responsibilities.  In addition, she assists the probate section with the maintenance of its files and Beth McElroy in her capacity as Jefferson County Administrator.

Landis has been with the firm since 1997.  She has over 35 years of experience in the legal field as a legal assistant, paralegal and law librarian.  She graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Masters degree.  She was born and raised in Birmingham and has three daughters, two grandsons and one granddaughter that bring much joy to her life outside of her work with the firm.
